Things are really coming together for this year’s Concours, I’m very pleased to say that Autoglym have very kindly agreed to provide packs for the winners and bottles of polish for the first 30 entrants. This is very generous and all the more reason to get your entries in early. We have already started to receive a steady trickle of entries, mostly by e-mail, but there’s still polish up for grabs so don’t delay, get your entry in by e-mail to concours@tssc.org.uk
A reminder to everyone entering the Concours, you need to bring your MOT certificate and insurance to prove that the vehicle you’re entering is roadworthy (see Concours Rules 2010). Also for those entering the Cruised and Used class you need to provide two MOTs to provide evidence of the mileage covered to compete in this class (2.500 miles per year).
As mentioned in previous articles we are always keen to recruit new judges, if you fancy gaining experience, it is extremely interesting and rewarding. If you’re new to judging don’t worry we will put you with and experienced judge. As long as you have enthusiasms and interest we’re sure you’ll find this extremely worthwhile. Please give us a call or drop us an e-mail, in any case you can come along to the Concours desk and have a chat with us on Saturday of the event. If you don’t fancy judging but can spare some time to help with adding up the judging sheets on the Sunday you will be very welcome.
We do hope that our old friends who have judged in the past will once again give us your support and judge again. Please let us know in advance if you’re able to help. On Sunday morning at
Finally we would like to give a very big thank you to all the sponsors who have generously given their support. Visit Concours Categorise for more information
Concours Preparation for Beginners
Last year when thinking about what advice and information to give for the International Concours, we thought a great deal had already been done by our predecessors. Never-the-less it became clear that quite a number of new people to concours still wanted some basic information and guidance.
